Hope. Isn’t it the key to our ability to persist in the face of great challenges? In our community’s most critical hour, YOU can inspire hope for children and families by helping to provide urgently needed, whole-family resources and academic instruction to students in need; resources which are more essential than ever before.
On day-one of school closures, Education Success Foundation, EnCompass, and The Norman Howard School sprang into action assessing needs with each of the 2,000 children we serve, and responding with personalized, direct support. The COVID-19 crisis is deepening existing inequities and threatens to have a dire long-term impact on academic success for the students we serve. Today, we make an urgent appeal for your powerful support.
Your donation today can make a meaningful impact in one of the following ways:
>Families experiencing hardships are going hungry – and hungry children, already facing barriers, cannot focus on learning. $50 will deliver one week’s worth of healthy meals, fresh fruits and vegetables, and urgently needed essentials to a student’s doorstep. Learn more
>A donation of $150 will provide a Rochester student with 6-weeks of hands-on summer learning projects so she can stay on track. Without this support, 864 PreK through grade 9 students, stand to lose the entire year of reading and math gains as a result of school closures. Learn more
>Services for students with learning needs are being drastically cut and poorly delivered. Your multi-year pledge can place The Norman Howard School’s expertise within reach with a scholarship.
Join us to adapt to what is needed by students during this challenging time and tear down barriers to learning and academic success.
Given the extraordinary need and the devastating impact the crisis is having on the students we serve, hope may be the most powerful antidote, and we need your help delivering it. By giving, you are standing with students and families, ensuring they have what they need when so much else has crumbled away.
Thank you for helping students and families feel cared for, hopeful, and able to persist with your continued support.
