Richard Sands

Richard founded Education Success Foundation and Network in 2007 with a mission and strategy to enhance opportunities for all students, advance systems change, and drive collective impact in Rochester and the surrounding area. Richard serves as Chairman for the Education Success Foundation and Education Success Network, Friends of CMAC, and of the F-CMAC Executive Committee. He is actively involved in improving education in the community, serving on the boards of trustees for the University of Rochester and Rochester Institute of Technology. Richard serves as treasurer and board member for the local non-for-profit Canandaigua Area Development Corporation, and acts as a trusted advisor to BCG consulting on the Finger Lakes Regional Council’s poverty initiatives.
